Foams and Nonwovens

Converting

Engineered Foam Converting – from the roll to the ready-to-install assembly.

Foam is only as good as its processing. Flexible foams, cellular rubbers, and technical nonwovens only unfold their function when they are exactly cut, precisely laminated, and reliably converted. This is exactly where we come in: With one of the broadest technology portfolios in the industry, we manufacture precisely, reproducibly, and in any batch size – from prototypes to small series and mass production.

Converting Technologies at a Glance

We choose the process your component needs – not the one that happens to be available.

For high volumes, this means rotary die-cutting; for complex geometries, CNC milling or waterjet; for clean fine geometries, laser or ultrasound. Often, we combine multiple steps into a single, consistent process chain.

What Distinguishes Us

Technological Depth Under One Roof

Rotary and flatbed die-cutting, kiss-cutting, laser, waterjet, and ultrasonic cutting, CNC milling, flatbed and thermal lamination, thermoforming, impregnation, rewinding, slitting, and cleanroom assembly.

Material Variety in Breadth and Depth

PU (ester & ether), PE (cross-linked/non-cross-linked), EPDM, NR, CR, NBR, semi-closed elastomers, melamine (Basotect®), PU rebond, PET and SRH felt, as well as specialized foams impregnated with silicone, acrylate, or activated carbon.

Functionalization Instead of Just Cutting

Sealing, damping, insulation, shielding, filtering, adsorbing – we bring foam into function, not just into form.

Partner of Leading Premium Brands

As a tesa Platinum Converter and 3M Preferred Converter, we offer you exclusive access to high-end adhesive technologies – naturally certified according to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, with the quality standards you rightly expect.

Group Strength, SME DNA

Embedded in the IFH Holding with over 400 employees and 14 companies – short decision-making paths, large capacities.

Materials – Curated, Tested, Available

Our material portfolio is not a catalog, but a selection.

We qualify foams based on cell structure, density, emission behavior, flame protection, and temperature resistance, and keep common qualities in stock – so that prototype parts are created in days and series production runs reliably.

Polyurethane flexible foam (PU), ester and ether types

Polyethylene foam (PE), cross-linked and non-cross-linked

Cellular rubber EPDM, NR, CR, NBR as well as semi-closed rubber (Nitto)

Melamine resin foam (Basotect®) for acoustics and high temperatures

PU rebond, PET high-loft, and SRH felts

Impregnated foams with silicone, acrylate, activated carbon (PAC & GAC)

Whether flame retardant according to FMVSS 302 or low-emission according to VDA 278 – we specify the material together with you and verify the properties with data sheets, samples, and test certificates.

The Industries We Serve

CELLTEC supplies customers whose components must not fail. Our production is calibrated to exactly these requirements.

  • Construction industry, printing industry, filtration, and air purification
  • Mechanical and plant engineering, glass and metal processing
  • Medical technology and laboratory equipment
  • Electrical engineering, white goods, data center technology
  • Automotive, commercial vehicles, rail, and aerospace engineering

From Idea to Series – How We Work

  1. Understand. Requirement, environment, load, service life. We listen before we cut.
  2. Design. Material selection, process, tolerances, construction – with CAD, calculation, and, if necessary, test stand.
  3. Sample. Initial sample within a few days, including documentation and initial sample inspection report.
  4. Series Production. Scalable processes, tight inspection intervals, JIT, and Kanban delivery.
  5. Stay Partners. Changes, optimizations, new derivatives – without a break in the supply chain.

Quality, Partner, Trust

Our processing is embedded in a tight quality and partner network. This guarantees you the same quality on every working day – and the same commitment, whether for a prototype or a million-unit series.

Certified: ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, CCC China Certification, UL (Repackaging), EcoVadis, and a lived Code of Conduct.

Converter Partnerships: tesa Platinum Converter and 3M Preferred Converter – with direct access to adhesive solutions, films, and treatments from leading manufacturers.

Material Suppliers: For example, Nitto, ATP, BASF, Rogers, Saint-Gobain, Carpenter, Köpp, Sekisui Alveo, Addev Materials – curated, approved, and available.

International Reach: For example, through cooperation with Armstrong Industries Singapore, we reach 18 locations in 7 Asian countries – a real advantage for global sourcing customers.

Sustainability: In-house energy production, recycled content in raw materials, EcoVadis rating – and a team that has shown for decades that long-term is better than short-term.

The result: reproducible components, transparent processes, and a partner who takes responsibility beyond their own scope – even when things get complicated.
